Launched in February 2014, TechTestLondon is a website by Pat Walsh, a freelance App Tester, working in London and online.
TechTestLondon covers the booming world of Wearable Tech, Smartwatches & Connected Tech and the apps that make the tech work – and also promotes the App Testing services provided by Pat Walsh.

Wearable Tech is a fast expanding product area, usually involving an activity tracker worn on the body, which is then connected to a smartphone device via technology such as Bluetooth 4.0.
An app on the smartphone will then process the info received from the activity tracker and present this info in a way that the user can easily read and work with.
Smartwatches are another fast expanding product area, taking the old concept of a wrist watch and adding a 21st century twist, by connecting to a smartphone device.
The smartwatch will then combine its watch functions with extra capabilities such as providing alerts & notifications when paired with a smartphone, plus extra functions via its own OS.
Connected Tech covers an ever-increasing range of products, which connect a bit of technology kit to the internet and/or Apps. Often the bit of kit is not what you’d usually expect to be connected – such as a thermostat or a laser.
The connection then allows the bit of kit to be controlled via an App, usually allowing an extra level of control and interaction.
